How to Classify a Pixel
This is a tutorial on how to classify a pixel in the image pane.
Available Commands
- Left Mouse Button - selects a pixel in the image to be classified.
- s - randomly selects a pixel in the image to be classified.
- q - exits the sampling mode and returns to
selecting.
- 0-9 - assigns a classification to the current pixel of interest.
Steps
- Enter the sampling mode by going to the menu bar and picking
the Training menu and selecting
Interactive Sampling.
- Either move the mouse cursor over the image pane and left click to select a pixel or
press s to randomly select a pixel. Pressing q will exit sampling mode.
- The pixel of is interest is surrounded by a green square in the image pane and the area
of the image inside the square is displayed in the context pane.
The pixel can be classfied by pressing a number key. A different pixel can be chosen by pressing
s or by selecting it with the mouse. The sampling mode can be exited by pressing
q.
