How to Select a Feature

This is a tutorial on how to select a feature from the image pane to display its value in the context pane.

Available Commands

• Left Mouse Button - selects the feature the mouse cursor is over.
• Page Up - moves the currently selected feature to the top of the feature list.
• Page Down - moves the currently selected feature to the bottom of the feature list.

Steps

1. Press the selection arrow from the tool bar to get in selection mode.
2. Move the mouse cursor over the feature of interest and left click. The value of the selected feaure will appear in the context pane.

   

3. If the selection box appears around the wrong feature then press PAGE DOWN to move it to the bottom and again try to left click on the feature you are interested in. Repeat as needed.

4. If you want to remove the feature from the image pane then press DELETE.
